Bolt Automation

What is the difference between a Agent and an Integrator?

Bolt Automation is a Full Systems Integrator for Packaging and Plastics Lines.

Traditional Agent

An equipment agent or manufacturer’s representative helps evaluate your packaging needs and recommends equipment from the manufacturers they represent. Typically paid a commission by the manufacturer, they bring product knowledge and help coordinate equipment selection, quotations, and purchasing.

Value-Added Agent

A value-added agent provides equipment selection and purchasing support, along with services such as installation assistance, PLC programming, or troubleshooting. Their involvement extends beyond the sale, with capabilities and project responsibilities varying by company.

Full Systems Integrator

A full systems integrator brings the equipment, engineering, and project execution together. Mechanical design, electrical and controls engineering, PLC programming, fabrication, installation, startup, and ongoing support are coordinated by one team—with responsibility for making the individual machines operate as a complete production system.

How much does it cost to rent a robotic system from Bolt Automation

Paul makes $20/hr and works 40 hours a week. This accounts for his wages, but what of his labor burden costs? His workers’ comp rate is 15% ($15 per $100 he makes), and his health insurance costs $500/month. Already we can see his cost to the company is far beyond his wage of $20/hr. Next, plug in the additional information found on the payroll reports–FICA, insurance, etc.

From here, we have the following labor burden cost for Paul:

Wage $20.00
FICA $1.53
State unemployment insurance $0.27
Workers’ comp $3.00
Health insurance $2.92
Total $28.00

Based on this calculation, running 1 shift with Paul will cost you $4,853 per month. If you are running two shifts per week, you are spending $9,700 per month.

We typically can deliver a rental robotic system to you in 10 weeks or under depending on the complexity of your project. We do have robots on rotation that may be available sooner.

Yes, Bolt Automation will train your staff how to operate our system.
